I like it when you comment, I really do. But you don’t need to. I’ll still blog whether you comment or not. I like it more that you continue to read, despite the times I disappear for months on end, whine about family issues, languish in depression for summers at a time and basically break every blogging ‘rule’ known to the Internet.
[added at a decent time of the morning on the West Coast when I can actually think properly]
So I like it when you comment. You see, unlike a fictional world, you read about me and us as we really are. Of course there is a filter – a mask of sorts – but in the end, this blog is pared down to represent us as honestly as possible. And it’s good and important for me to know that my voice is out there in the wilderness, crying out, and someone actually can hear it.
Every once in awhile, say hello. Please.
So thank you!
Serenity

Hi Serenity,
I’m a regular visitor to your blog, and always enjoy my visits. Thanks for being a part of LOL 6.
Hugs,
Hermione
Hi! I’ve been reading your stuff ever since the Sparkle days. You have been an inspiration to me and gave me a model of the kind of relationship I wanted to have in my life. I’m happy to say the right man came along and I want to thank you for helping me to NOT turn my back on these desires, for keeping me hopeful. Michael fills my heart with love, and my bottom with spanks.
Serenity, I’m mostly a lurker I guess…. I really enjoy reading your blog. Happy LOL Day
Ally
Love your blog
Hey S, not a lurker but for sure a big fan! Happy LOL Day! Sara
I’ve been reading your blog for a long time. It’s one of my faves. I’ve commented on a rare blog post here and there but am delurking today for LOL day.
I hope you will continue blogging for a long time to come.
Hugs,
padme
I’m not exactly a lurker, either. But you were one of the kind people who welcomed me into this community when I was new and shy, so I’m commenting to say thanks!
Hugs,
Indy
Happy LOL Day Serenity. I’m not normally a lurker but have lurked here. I know my lovely Season has been greatly helped and influenced by you and your writing and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love your writing too and will try to do better and delurk more often. Have a great LOL Day.
Love your blog. I’m not much of a commentator (if that’s the word), but I read regularly.
Be well,
Alias
Hi Serenity, I’ve read for awhile, but have been a little shy about commenting. I’m getting over that though, lol. I love to come visit and will visit again. Thanks for having me.
I’m not exactly a lurker, but am commenting anyway. Because you’re just that special. :b
I always love stopping by, not in spite of the pauses and entries on daily life, but because of them. It’s nice to see a little bit past the kink and into the regular lives of the people we meet. Happy, LOL day, Serenity!
Happy LOL Day!
~Todd and Suzy
Hi Serenity,
I’ve been a long time lurker, and although I might be mistaken, have never commented. I appreciate your willingness to so articulately share the details of your kink (and some of your vanilla) life.
hi – I really enjoy your blog (and your twitter feed).
thanks and happy LOL day!
Dear ones,
Thank you so much for your kind words. To be honest, LOL Day – while a fabulous idea – feels a bit to me as if I’m preening and asking you to admire me. I don’t preen well. It feels awkward, to be honest.
Oh, I totally think Bonnie’s right in that we should thank you, and often. After all, what’s a blog without readers? It’s a diary, and a lonely one at that. But I always do feel odd about asking lurkers to comment, to come out of your hiding places and blossom here. I mean, how is that lurking? And if you’re the ones commenting, how am I doing any thanking?
So thank you. All of you.
Serenity
Late to this, but when I see you’ve added a new post I always look forward to it. I love the three-dimensionality and honesty of this blog; and the combination of playfulness, thoughtfulness and gentleness in your writing.
I know what you mean about the awkward self-aggrandising feeling of LOL as well. I mean yes it’s about appreciation for lurkers… but also about soliciting comments. It makes me feel awkward too. Still, those who comment seem happy to be invited, so no loss, right?
I am a lurker…but I’ve posted before too!
Love your blog!
HUGS!
